Bucharest has a vibrant shopping scene, and its malls cater to various tastes and budgets. Here's our guide to the top 5 shopping malls in Bucharest:

  1. AFI Cotroceni

Our list starts with the biggest of them all! With an approximately 90.000 square metres, AFI Cotroceni is Romania's biggest shopping mall.

Situated in the westen part of Bucharest, between city centre and major residential districts, AFI Cotroceni is very accessible.

If you came with your car there's no need to worry about finding a spot as it has plenty of parking spots.

You have a wilde variety of categories for all your shopping needs: explore fashion, footwear, electronics, homeware, sports goods, and more.

Browse international and local brands, grab a bite or dine at a diverse range of restaurants.

This shopping mall offers many unique experiences:

  • You can enjoy the year-round ice rink

  • Catch a blockbuster at the on-site cinema, including the only 3D IMAX screen in Romania

  • Have a mind-bending experience at the Museum of Senses where the optical illusions and interactive exhibits will for sure delight you.

For those interested in doing some grocery shopping, AFI Cotroceni has the Auchan Hypermarket.

What we like about AFI Cotroceni Mall:

We love the variety of restaurants, that we can find here stores like Primark and Victoria's Secret and that it is the only shopping mall opened even on holidays, at least until now.
